Broken-Part 7

Weeks passed, and Kakashi’s memory was going better and better. He had remembered all his friends and ancient students.
Except Sakura.
She hadn’t told him that she was the Sakura he was looking for. She was waiting for the right time, when he would have remembered everything.
His broken arms and legs were not injured anymore, and he was training every day. He was passing to the hospital every morning for medical checkup and was able to do some minor missions.
“Everything seems to be better” Sakura thought.
Tonight. She would tell him tonight.

The evening came, and Sakura walked in the streets. There was anyone at this time. Supper time.
“Why did I wait so long to tell him?” the pink-haired woman asked herself.
When she arrived at Kakashi’s home, she hesitated a second and then knocked. Kakashi opened the door and looked at her.
-‘Evening, Miss Haruno, he said with a smile. What can I do for you?
-I must talk to you a sec, Sakura answered. Can I come inside?
-Sure.
The silver-haired man stepped aside and Sakura entered.
Nothing changed here. All was a mess. It was not dirty, just… untidy.
-Sorry for this, Kakashi said, seeing her looking around. I’m just, um…  
-Messy, Sakura said with a smile.
The jounin hesitated and smiled too.
-Messy, yah, he said.
They sat in the living room and, after a minute of silence, Sakura started.
-You remember that Sakura you’re looking everywhere for, right? The young woman asked.
-How could I forget? Kakashi said. It’s the first thing that came in my mind when I woke up. In my memory, she’s nice and beautiful…
While he was continuing to describe her, Sakura felt her heart beat faster. And what if he was angry because she hadn’t told him earlier? What if do not believe her? What if…
“Stop. Stop thinking about these possibilities.” Sakura told herself.
-Miss Haruno? A voice called suddenly.
Sakura emerged from her thought and looked at Kakashi.
-Uh... yeah what is it? She said.
-Did you retrieve her? He asked.
Sakura closed her eyes.
-Yes, I retrieved her… she answered.
-And…? Kakashi asked. Where is she?
The pink-haired woman opened her eyes and looked at her former Sensei in the eyes.
-… It’s me, she murmured.
