Thunder Hawks-Part 1

Kakashi kissed Sakura on the lips and promised.
-Take care of Kahlan, dear, and take care of you, too, said the copy ninja.

Kakashi crouched in front of a little gray-haired girl.
-Kahlan, promise me you’ll take care of your mom, he said, and of your future little brother.
-yes, Daddy! Kahlan said, almost crying. I swear!
It was the second time she saw his father going to a mission. The first time, she was too young to remember it, but this time she will remember all her life.
-Don’t be afraid, Kakashi said softly. Cry.
-The ninjas don’t cry! Kahlan shouted.
-Oh yes, they cry, answered Kakashi. See?
A tear escaped his eye and went crash on the ground. Kahlan stared at the dark spot on the sand.
-This is not a real tear, she said.
-Oh yes it is, he answered. I’m sad because maybe you’ll be tall and independent when I’ll come back.
He kissed her daughter on the forehead. She hugged him and whispered:
-Be careful, Dad.
Kakashi replaced the headband of Konoha in her neck and smiled. He gets up and kissed his wife again.
-I’ll be back in two weeks. Hinata will stay with you, he said.
-Bye! Sakura said.
-Bye! Kahlan repeated.
-Good luck, Kakashi, Naruto said. Come back safe and sound.
-I knew a little guy loike you, long ago, Kakashi said. His name was Naruto Uzumaki, alias idiot or good-for-nothing guy. You're very different of him!
